The night before while we had been out drinking, Alex & Joe had come up with a plan – get us so drunk that we wouldn’t want to ride the next day so they could kidnap us and take us on a road trip. As Alex & Joe were really fun people, we eagerly accepted the offer and had enjoyed sipping from Alex’s hip flask although only enough that we were slightly tender when we woke up.

Unfortunately the trees were too tall and so once again we were foiled!

We stopped by Walmart on the way over to get some snacks and to get wipes to clean

By the time we were up, Jean had headed out to run an errand so we didn?t get to thank her for the Dutch Baby we found waiting for us in the kitchen. It looked like a giant Yorkshire pudding, but a little thicker and lighter. It was served with homemade jams and icing sugar. We sat round and talked to Dennis who then made some French Toast to ensure we were full of delicious carbs. He gave us some hints on reading the skies and forecast the weather based on the direction of the smoke coming
