Pompano Beach -> North Palm Beach

Pompano Beach -> North Palm Beach

I’d arrived in Pompano on Tuesday and had originally thought I’d be rolling out on Thursday. Having enjoyed my time there and with Noelle’s kindness, I stayed until Sunday, but then it was time to go. It was lovely relaxing, playing scrabble and going for a ride down the intracoastal with Tom, but the semblance of a plan had formed during my time and I’d got a new mirror so it was time to roll.

After a rest day with Jim & Ju, it was time to head up to Miami. I spent the morning relaxing and giving some thought to the next few weeks. I’m at a stage of the trip which is a little difficult to plan for. After I’m done with the US, I’m

Minneola -> Orlando

While the ride to Minneola the day before was the end of the loop, the true end of part 1 awaited me in Orlando. Since I had departed from Tampa in May, Alix, the friend who had inspired me to do this trip, had got married to Inseul and moved to Orlando. Therefore, I had to get to Orlando, a 40-50 mile ride depending on how direct I went.

A relaxing morning talking with Kathy & Seth was followed by us all getting ready to ride. While they both have individual bikes they prefer to ride their
